What will be discussed during the consulation?This will be our starting point of getting to know each other before transforming your house into a home! You will share important details so we can better understand your struggles and goals for your new project. We will tour your home and discuss your area of concern in depth. During this time together, ideas and suggestions will be provided to improve your space. ​ Topics that we can discuss but are not limited to during this time are as follows: defining your style, room functionality, room layout ideas, window dressings, home decor items, rug selection/sizing, review of existing furniture, new furniture in conjunction with existing furniture, paint selections, and lighting fixtures.

What is the process of transforming my space?Once you complete the intake form, you will receive a follow up call. We will schedule a consultation to further discuss the project. Please note that the interior decorating fee will need to be paid in full before moving forward. After the 1 hr consultation, you will receive notes and 1 vision board based on what was discussed during our time together. Once the vision board is approved, we will request the estimated budget amount to send to Rose Petals' Home Decor. Here's one of our favorite parts aside from transformation day.- we will place all orders and shop for you! When all items arrive to your residence, we will schedule "Transformation Day!".

What is the difference between budget spending and the interior decorating fee?Budget Spending: During the consultation, you will inform the interior decorator of your budget. This is the amount that will be used to purchase your new items to grace your space. We always inform our clients to keep in mind that shipping and taxes can take up to 15% of their budget. Interior Decorating Fee: The interior decorator's fee is paying for the services of Rose Petals' Home Decor. This fee will be paid during the consultation process. ​ Please note it is best to have your budget spending ready before starting this process. After the vision board is approved, items should be ordered immediately while in stock. Any changes after the approval of the vision board may result to an additional charge.

How long does this entire process take?Each project varies depending on the items needed to be ordered. Small Space Makeovers and Full Interior Styling can range from 3 weeks to 2 months depending on furniture delays due to COVID-19. ​ Please note, if you are interested in the Do-It-Yourself Services, Rose Petals' Home Decor will answer all questions during the initial consultation. Any additional questions or services will be charged by the hour.

What are the additional services provided at Rose Petals' Home Decor?Painting Applying Wallpaper Wood Paneling Furniture Assembly Furniture Revamp/Makeover Invisible Wire TV Mount Installation Replacing Light Fixtures ​ *If your project requires contracting work, this must be taken care of before decorating day.

Are there virtual options available?Yes, we offer virtual services for Do-It-Yourself Services and the consultation for Small Space Makeovers. ​ Virtual Services will require all clients to give Rose Petals' Home Decor a virtual home tour and to send clear photos of the area/room of concern for us to get a better understanding of your project. ​ Please note that if you are not in the Tri-State Area, we can arrange a virtual package just for you!
