Hi everyone! I am the founder of Rose Petals' Home Decor and a proud School Counselor in Harlem, where I was born and raised. Before we get acquainted, let me share my interior decorating history with you!
As a little girl living in a 2-bedroom apartment in NYC, I developed a passion for home decor. Every month, I would ask my mother for permission to redecorate my bedroom because I always had a new idea in mind! My friends would say "Sheba, your room looks like a page in a magazine. You have to do mine." Interior decorating became my favorite hobby over the years, and I decided to become certified and start a business. With practice and fun projects, I learned how essential it is to create a space you love to come home to without a huge budget.
Rose Petals' Home Decor specializes in decorating different rooms, apartments, condos, and smaller spaces. As a city girl at heart, I understand that most people who live in apartments struggle with decor due to space, layout, landlord rules, time, or simply not knowing where to start. This should not be the reason you stick with a boring home! We provide our clients who rent with tips to spice up your place without causing damage and headaches.
